World University Rankings 2020: UniSR confirms its excellent 2019 position

Vita-Salute San Raffaele University will be ranked in the 2020 Times Higher Education World University Rankings and in the QS-Top Universties.

Together with QS, THE Times Higher Education is one of the most significant and recognized rankings in the world; the indicators taken into consideration for the ranking are teaching, research, number of publications, citations in international journals, relations with the operators of the reference market and male to female ratio.

 

In the World University Rankings 2019, the UniSR is ranked 201-250 among the 1000 international universities evaluated, maintaining the excellence position for all the teaching classes proposed in the training offer.

The Vita-Salute San Raffaele University is among the top 250 universities in the world evaluated for teaching, technology transfer, research, impact of scientific quotations and internationalization of the academic staff.

THE Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2020 includes almost 1,400 universities across 92 countries, standing as the largest and most diverse university rankings ever to date. The table is based on 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators that measure an institution’s performance across teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.

By watching the global ranking, under the ‘Citations‘ indicator, we position 39th in the overall ranking and first among the Italians.

By observing the positioning data relating to the Medical area, UniSR maintains the 201-250 position among best universities. This specific area ranking evaluates the best Universities dealing with Clinical, Pre-Clinical and Health subjects.

University Rankings 2020 By Subject- THE Times Higher Education

Ranked by Medical Subject, UniSR is ranked 201-250 among the international universities evaluated, and in the first 10th position in Italy.

 

The recently released QS ranking ranked UniSR among the 350 best universities in the world in the broad subject Area Life Sciences and Medicine, earning around twenty places compared to the previous year. The macro-category includes not only the topics related to the entire Faculty of Medicine but also those related to Pshychology.

In addition, UniSR earns around 100 positions for the Medical area gaining a position among the first 150-200 worldwide universities.

QS which, together with THE, is one of the most authoritative international rankings, undertakes to analyze the scores relating to the major international universities. The ranking is based on scores defined by an accurate weighted average of the following factors: academic reputation, employer reputation, citations for paper and H-Index.

The Young University ranking, which rank UniSR in the top 23th University in the world among Italians, is in progress for 2020.
