The aim of the research activity is to explore the value that the Christianity in the early centuries and the patristic tradition attributed to the human life, with a particular attention to the dialogue with the scientific-philosophical thought and to the likely impacts in the contemporary culture, on one side, and to the hermeneutical aspects and the problems of the texts understood in light of their historical background, on the other side. The PhD candidate will be requested to actively participate and contribute to the events of the Center for Patristic Studies “Genesis – Luigi M. Verzé”.
