Learning is measured in ECTS-credits that demonstrate the student’s commitment.
The Bachelor’s degree involves the following types of training:
- Basic courses for the training of Dentists: functions and metabolism of the molecules of biological interest, human morphology and the integrated functions of human organs and systems.
- Vocational courses: dental and radiology disciplines, disciplines of dental interest, laboratory diagnostics.
- Complementary and supplementary courses with interdisciplinary training.
Credits can be acquired autonomously by students through: participation in Congresses, Symposia and Consensus Conferences; preparation for the final assessment; the learning of a foreign language; and the acquisition of other computer and interpersonal skills.
Teaching is also enhanced by business and administration aspects such as business planning, financial management, human resource management, coordination of the patient’s/user’s treatment programme, and communication and marketing, that are increasingly important for the modern dentist
