Advanced Clinical Inflammatory Bowel Disease, II level Master Program 2023/24
Program structure
The Master Program corresponds to a II level University Master within the Italian Academic system.
Upon completion of the 12-months, and after the traineeship and final project dissertation, participants will be awarded 60 ECTS.
The Program will be launched starting from February 5th, 2024.
The activities will be delivered in a blended format, with both e-learining classes, completely taught in English, and on-campus practical training in collaboration with the San Raffaele Hospital (Milan).
The theoretical training activities (modules 1 to 4) will take place remotely, through asynchronous lessons available on a dedicated e-learning platform. The self-study of the video lessons will alternate with moments of confrontation with the professors, through remote syncronous Q&A sessions. The four theoretical modules will take place approximately from February to June 2024. At the end of each module there will be an interactive Q&A session, to be carried out remotely as well as a mandatory assessment test.
The practical activities will take place within the San Raffaele Hospital facilities and will take place with a flexible schedule, according to the participants' needs.
They will consist of two phases:
- observership hands-off training >>> 2 weeks; one in the clinic and one in the endoscopy room.
- observership hands-on training >>> 4 weeks; of whom two in the clinic and two in the endoscopy room.
