In the context of international mobility carried out through international cooperation agreements, it is possible to carry out study and / or training activities at European universities not participating in the Erasmus + program or at non-European universities.

The request to be able to carry out such training experiences must be submitted in advance to the verification of the Degree Program Board.

The approval of the same, upon presentation of the necessary documentation, will guarantee the recognition of the experience carried out upon return.

All international mobility exchanges must be governed by International Cooperation Agreements established directly between the UniSR International Relations Office and the corresponding Office at the foreign university.

The University is also part of the VSLO Visiting Student Learning Opportunities program. A program of the AAMC American Association of Medical Colleges that offers the possibility to search and apply for International Clinical or Research Electives through the collaborative network and a dedicated web platform.

As a HOME University, UniSR medical students can use the tool to identify clinical or research experiences outside of Italy.

We welcome students who are interested in carrying out curricular activities in UniSR and its campus as part of their own curriculum.

The International Office manages requests of incoming undegrgraduate and graduate visiting students who wish to spend a period of time/internships in the San Raffaele wards or laboratories and out of the Erasmus+ Programme.

These requests may be addressed to the Director of the department students are interested in or to our office at mobility@unisr.it

Acceptance depends on the availability of places for incoming students in the selected area/ward/laboratory and upon consent of the Director of the Department/Unit.

The requests are then verified and approved by the Faculty Board after which an agreement with the Home Institution is required in order to confirm all details on the mobility period.

Each incoming student needs to comply also with the safety precaution measures and Preventative Medecine requirements.

Upon arrival Incoming students are enrolled to UniSR upon arrival as fully recognized mobility students.
