Master in Structural and Coronary Interventional Cardiology
overview
The second-degree Master in Structural and Coronary Interventional Cardiology aims to provide theorical and practical skills in the field of interventional cardiology. The candidate will be able to perform as a first operator both simple and complex percutaneous coronary interventions.
The candidate will be exposed to structural interventions procedure like transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), percutaneous correction of mitral regurgitation with MitraClip, percutaneous left atrial appendage closure, percutaneous closure of patent foramen ovale (PFO), percutaneous closure of atrial septal defect.
The results will be verified by the catheterization laboratory daily attendance and by the writing of an experimental thesis.
