Public Engagement
Overview
The Vita-Salute San Raffaele University trains high-level students thanks to the multiplicity of stimuli, possibilities, technologies, and its world-known teachers. However, our professors, researchers and students do not just carry out their work on Campus, but they are always committed to sharing it outside, participating in a variety of events with the primary objective of promoting a culture of health and of prevention among the society and on the territory.
San Raffaele firmly believes that communication, involvement and education in the field of life sciences aimed at an audience of "non-experts" represent a meaningful and constructive interaction that offers opportunities for mutual learning between scientists and members of the public. This fundamental duty and social responsibility sees students, doctoral students, post-doctorates, senior researchers and university professors involved in numerous activities designed for different audiences and contexts. The University Communication Service collaborates closely with the San Raffaele Hospital and other structures of the San Donato Group to make it possible for researchers to be directly involved in communicating their work.
