Igiene Insieme

"Igiene Insieme" ("Hygiene Together") is an initiative by Napisan, developed in collaboration with the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University and La Fabbrica, aimed at nursery and primary schools to spread the teaching of good hygiene practices among children and make the school a place where you can return to learn and have fun in safety.

This initiative stems from the desire to support the school world during a difficult time, between distance learning and uncertainty about the future, and has set itself the concrete objective of contributing to the educational process of the youngest and of those, like parents and teachers, who take the leading role in this process.

To date, the program has seen the donation of hygiene kits and educational-informative material in 8,000 schools throughout Italy, for a total of over 1 million students, which has also led to the creation of a hygiene-themed training course for teachers recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research.

As part of this project, in October 2020 UniSR conducted an empirical observation in 140 participating schools in Lombardy, which revealed a reduction in the incidence of Covid cases equal to 14% in schools participating in the program. In the light of the results obtained, therefore, an increasing importance for prevention and education emerges, with particular reference to hygiene.
