Learning Objectives
Dive into the world of valvular therapies during this innovative 3-day hands on Masterclass, presented in cooperation with PCR.
You will learn about Mitral and Tricuspid pathologies and you will be trained on how to perform Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair (TEER) successfully.
This masterclass is more than just an educational journey - it's a gateway to excel in TEER. During the Training Course you will be led by experts with three decades of expertise in cardiac interventions through the complexities and nuances of these procedures.
What to expect from the Course?
- Hands-on TEER techniques: to gain expertise in surgical and transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) through immersive, simulation-based learning. Experience exclusive anatomical demos on pig hearts, and master diagnosis and treatment strategies;
- Real world & live case studies: to better understand the nuances of TEER applications through case studies, helping you learn how to navigate challenges and optimise patient outcomes;
- Comprehensive evaluation: to demonstrate your understanding with evaluations on M-TEER and T-TEER by the end of the Course.

The Course (9-11 June, 2025) consists of:
- Lectures on anatomy and surgical techniques for Mitral and Tricuspid repair;
- Collegial discussion on Mitral and Tricuspid repair cases shown live from the operating rooms;
- Simulation of Transseptal Puncture and the edge-to-edge percutaneous technique.

STEP 2: UNIVERSITY ENROLLMENT
After filling out the PCR Application Form you will be contacted by the secretary in charge, in order to proceed with enrollment at University Vita-Salute San Raffaele by creating an intranet profile.
STEP 3: PRE-TRAINING MATERIALS
UniSR intranet profile is required to receive credentials in order to attend an online mandatory placement test and access pre-training materials at the following LINK.
