Holder of 11 patents (more than half granted in Europe and the United States), mostly antiviral drugs. Holder, in person and with the coworkers, of many research funds of private and public institutions, national and international (MIUR, FIRB, Ministry of Health, ISSAIDS,
the European Community, CNR, ANRS, EEC Foundation, in addition to GSK ,
Merck, Sanofi-Pasteur).
Evaluator of research projects for EU, Ministry of Education,
National Research Council, National Institute of Health, Tuscany and Veneto Regions, the Welcome Trust.
