ITACA

ITACA was born from the need to dedicate a small part of time to beauty and dialogue, coming into contact with our most human and artistic side.
We organize meetings by focusing on literary texts, poetics, figurative works and films. The aim is to participate in the discovery of the works "interrogating" and "questioning", in order to amplify their beauty and our curiosity.

Thematic meetings (6 - 8 PM)

Meetings dedicated to exploring a cultural theme through selected literary texts, with ample space for dialogue, discussion, and the sharing of participants’ reflections.
Once or twice per semester

Bookclub (6 - 8 PM)

Shared reading programs based on a book chosen from several proposals, with meetings devoted to collective discussion of the text, critical comparison, and the exchange of interpretations.
Once or twice per semester

Movie Nights (6 - 9:30 PM)

Film screenings followed by moments of dialogue and guided discussion, accompanied by convivial gatherings, understood as opportunities for cultural enrichment, reflection, and social interaction.
Two or three times per semester

Workshops

Labs, meetings, and workshops organized in collaboration with other student groups and university organizations, aimed at active participation.
Once or twice per semester

Student Magazine

The Itaca student magazine is inspired by the content, reflections, and dialogues that emerge during the book clubs and thematic meetings. It is also aimed at students who did not take part in the events, with the goal of spreading and making accessible the cultural work carried out. Copies are available in print, posted on notice boards around the university.
