Serena Borroni, was born in Milano on February 15th, 1978; after ended classical studies at Liceo Ginnasio “S. M. Legnani” in Saronno, she graduated on Psychology in Clinical and Community (VO), at Università Vita Salute San Raffele, on July 23rd, 2002 with first-class honors (110/110 with honors).

She specialized on November, 6th 2007 in Clinical Psychology with first-class honors (70/70 with honors).

Since her degree the Dr. Borroni’s research interest based on personality psychopathology concentrating on impulsivity and aggressive pathology, and on the linking between the personality features and the attachment motivational system, and on the application of quantitative method in clinical psychology, in particular on personality psychopathology and the validation of psychometric measures.

In 2007 she did a certify training for treating Borderline patients in accordance with the Mentalization Based Treatment at the Anna Freud Center of London.

From 2005-2006 to 2008-2009 she was exerciser of Psychodiagnosis (School of Psychology at the Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele Milano).

In 2008-2009 she was exerciser of Assessment and intervention in range of forensic and penitentiary (School of Psychology at the Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele Milano).

From 2008-2009 to 2009-2010 she was Professor with part-time contract of Psychometric methods (School of Psychology at the Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele Milano).

In 2009-2010 she was Professor with part-time contract of Assessment and intervention in range of forensic and penitentiary (School of Psychology at the Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele Milano)

In 2009-2010 she was Professor with part-time contract of Psychodiagnosis ( School of Psychology at the Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele Milano).

In 2010-2011 she was Professor with part-time contract of Theory and Method of Personality and Intelligence Tests (School of Psychology at the Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele Milano).

In 2010-2011 she was Professor with part-time contract of Forensic Psychology (School of Psychology at the Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele Milano).

In 2012-2013 she was Professor with part-time contract of Laboratory subjects: Multidimensional Assessment and Clinical and Personality Psychology (School of Psychology at the Università “ G. d’Annunzio”, Chieti-Pescara)

From December 2010 to December 2011 she was coordinator, psychologist and researcher in an action research project on bullying prevention funded by Comune di Milano Settore politiche della famiglia IV piano infanzia e adolescenza ex.L285/97.

From January 2008 to January 2009 she designed and realized an action research to find an association among aggression, bullying and personality variation in teen-ager funded by Fondazione Anna Villa e Felice Rusconi.

From September 2013 she is Assistant Professor of Psychometric (MPSI-03) , School of Psychology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University.
