He is Assistant Professor in History of Philosophy at the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele, where he has obtained his PhD in “Philosophy and Cognitive Sciences” (2013) with a thesis devoted to René Descartes and the genealogy of Modern Philosophy. During his PhD, he was a visiting fellow at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Coimbra (FLUC) under the supervision of Prof. Mário A. Santiago de Carvalho

In 2014-2015, he was a post-doctoral fellow at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Catholic Institute of Toulouse (ICT)

Between 2016 and 2018, he was a Lecturer at the Faculty of Philosophy, Languages, Literature and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo (USP) with a fellowship granted by FAPESP (São Paulo Research Foundation) and devoted to the early modern reception of the Cartesian theory of eternal truths
