Scientific Interest

My current scientific interest is the elucidation of the pathogenic mechanisms of immune-mediated central nervous system disorders. The expertise in cell biology and immunology adds up to a vast experience in discovery, validation and development of novel therapeutic agents for inflammatory disorders. Research challenges are adressed within qualified international networks. I am co-author of more than 80 scientific publications, >9000 citations, h-index: 42 (source: Scopus, March 2021).
