He has performed a total of 6000 interventions, including 2800 of prosthetic surgery and 1000 of Sports Medicine.

Scientific activity

Responsible, at the laboratories of the CE.S.I. of the G. d’Annunzio University Foundation, the implementation of preclinical protocols to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of stem cells derived from Amniotic Fluid (LA) in the field of orthopedics and traumatology.

He deals with regenerative medicine, studying the various types of stem cells (even from adipose tissue) and their use in the surgical field.

Evaluation of the role of PRP in the treatment of tendinopathies, muscle injuries and nonunion.

He was Investigator in the “Prospective Outcome Study of the ‘NCB Periprosthetic Proximal Femur Plate'”.

He was Investigator in the “National multicentre study on the quality of thromboembolic apopilassium in orthopedic surgery” Italian registry in orthopedics – Studiogiotto ”

He is a member for Italy of the Multicentric Worldwide Study on the new “Redapt” revision stem of the Smith & Nephew company.
