Eclectic, tenacious, disciplined: Federica De Nicola is among our #TalentiUniSR, attending the 5th year of Medicine in English at our University and first in the world in the Ironman of her category. “Ironman” is the triathlon longer distance, physically and mentally demanding, with its consecutive alternation of 4 km of swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.195 km of running. A true “Irongirl”, who carries on with great determination her studies in the International MD Program a tour University and her training at the San Raffaele Hospital. Her results are so exceptional that she has been invited as speaker to the Chamber of Deputies on the occasion of the presentation of ANGI – National Association of Young Innovators, on a day sponsored by the Cultural Commission of the European Parliament. “My experience through the Ironman was an opportunity to produce a motivational speech about the importance of combining head and body to plan the achievement of our goals. Our sport is a great teacher!” she declares. After the graduation he dreams of a Master’s Degree, a specialization abroad and to devote herself to professionalism.
