PhD projects and EU funds

PhD Fellowships funded in the context of EU funds

At University Vita-Salute San Raffaele, we are always committed to providing high-level learning opportunities and supporting students in every aspect of their academic journey. Thanks to the exceptional opportunity of European funding, many PhD projects have been announced and initiated, funded by EU allocations deriving from PON (DM 106/2021) and PNRR (DM 351 and 352/2022, DM 341/2022, DD 931/2022 and DM 117 and 118/2023) funds.

PON-funded Fellowships represent a cornerstone of educational financing in Italy, that aim to enhance the quality of education and student training. These national operational programs are co-funded by the European Union and the Italian State, offering unique opportunities to finance your studies, promoting access to high-quality higher education.

Additionally, with the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Italy had significant funds for economic growth and educational system improvement. Thanks to the PNRR, students can access new fellowships, advanced research programs, and sustainable development projects that will enrich their academic journey.

In this section, you will find the details of the initiated projects, and we will keep you informed about developments related to the mentioned funding and, if relevant, additional PhD positions funded with similar allocations.

Together, we can build a successful and prosperous future through education.
