Advanced Course on Transseptal Puncture – II edition

Learning Objectives

In 2024, UniSR hosts the second edition of Advanced Course on Transseptal Puncture. The course is organised in partnership with PCR as a 2-days seminar, structured in theoretical and practical sessions:

  • Physical and computer simulation-based training, including patient-specific training in collaboration with Mentice & Simulands
  • Scenario simulations on topics such as access failure, tamponade, aortic and wrong puncture
  • Highly practical learning sessions on a comprehensive knowledge about transseptal puncture

Open to all practising interventional cardiologists and cardiac surgeons, this seminar enables participants to certify the necessary knowledge base and skills to start or to continue a clinical practice on transseptal catheterisation. 

The course represents a unique chance to be trained on this topic and exchange competences with peers from all over the world.
