Attività clinica:

Esecuzione di circa 6000 interventi di chirurgia vascolare e/o endovascolare, di cui 950 in qualità di primo operatore, con principali interessi rivolti verso il trattamento, in elezione o in urgenza di:

  • aneurismi dell’aorta addominale e toracica, mediante ricostruzione chirurgica (bypass) o trattamento endovascolare (endoprotesi)
  • stenosi carotidea, succlavia o vertebrale (endoarterectomia o angioplastica / stent)
  • ischemia degli arti inferiori, mediante ricostruzione chirurgica (bypass) o trattamento endovascolare (angioplastica / PTA / stent)
  • sindrome dello stretto toracico, mediante lisi muscolare (scalenotomia) o asportazione di coste sovrannumerarie
  • insufficienza venosa degli arti inferiori, mediante intervento chirurgico (safenectomia / flebectomie) o endovascolare (termoablazione della safena con radiofrequenza)

Esecuzione di circa 18.500 esami diagnostici di Chirurgia Vascolare, di cui 18.200 esami di diagnostica vascolare non invasiva (EcoColorDoppler) e 300 esami di diagnostica vascolare invasiva (angiografia).

  • Lower limb ischemia, by means of surgical reconstruction (bypass) or endovascular treatment (angioplasty / PTA / stent)
  • Thoracic outlet syndrome, by means of muscular lysis (scalenotomy) or removal of anomalous ribs
  • Venous insufficiency of the lower limbs, by means of surgery (saphenectomy / phlebectomy) or endovascular (radiofrequency ablation of the saphenous vein)

 

Execution of about 18,500 diagnostic tests of Vascular Surgery, of which 18,200 non-invasive vascular examinations (Doppler ultrasound) and 300 invasive vascular diagnostic examinations (angiography).
