Current Positions

  • Junior Research Fellow in the scientific-disciplinary field L-ART/02 (History of Modern Art), Faculty of Philosophy, University Vita-Salute San Raffaele, Milan, where he teaches History of the Art of the Renaissance and Modernity, Iconology and Iconography, Institutions of History of Art.
  • Member of ICONE (European Research Center in History and Theory of the Image), Palazzo Arese Borromeo, Cesano Maderno (MB).
  • External scientific collaborator of Fribourg University (CH).

Research Interests

Modern Art, Connoisseurship, Renaissance and Baroque Studies, Aesthetics, Iconography and Iconology, Visual Studies, Visual Semiotics, Visual Anthropology, the relationship between History and Theory of Art.
