The “ISMRM Summa Cum Laude Merit Award” of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine was awarded to Camilla Cividini, PhD student of the International PhD Course in Molecular Medicine at UniSR. The recognition took place for her oral presentation during the 27th ISMRM Congress held in Montréal (Canada).
In her presentation, entitled "Structural and functional organization of the brain connectome in patients with different motor neuron diseases: a multicenter study", Dr. Cividini reported the results of a multicenter study that aimed at identifying specific structural and functional brain damage patterns for the differentiation between patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, primary lateral sclerosis and progressive muscular atrophy, using graph analysis and connective tissue techniques.
Camilla states:
