From 1st to 5th July, together with the San Raffaele Hospital and the University of Bergamo, we will have the honour of hosting a delegation of lecturers and students from the prestigious Riga Technical University (RTU) in Latvia, divided into three groups according to their subject area: Architecture, Italian Culture and Health Technologies.
The first two groups will be hosted by the University of Bergamo, while the third will travel to UniSR as part of the Erasmus + Short-Term Mobility project. Here they will be greeted by the University governance with a welcome ceremony, followed by a tour of the Campus that will allow them to familiarise themselves with the university environment and get a close-up view of the state-of-the-art facilities and services that make UniSR a centre of excellence in the Italian educational and research landscape.
Particular attention will be devoted to visiting advanced laboratories, such as the renowned Simulation Lab, where, thanks to realistic and interactive mannequins, they will be able to experience innovative teaching techniques and methodologies, such as: simulations of rescue manoeuvres in the shock room, but also diagnostic tests, nursing and surgical procedures in the operating theatre. All this will enable them to better understand how UniSR integrates theory with practice to train highly qualified professionals.
