II level Master in Advanced Clinical Inflammatory Bowel Disease A.Y. 2026/27

The Master Program corresponds to a II level Master within the Italian Academic system.

Upon completion of the 12-months program, including the professional training and thefinal project dissertation, participants are awarded of 60 ECTS.

It will be held in English, staring from February 24th, 2027.

The teaching activities will be delivered in a blended format. 

Theoretical activities will take place remotely, through recorded video-lessons available on a dedicated e-learning platform. The curriculum is organized into four modules; at the end of each module, an online Q&A session and a mandatory assessment test will be held. Successful completion of the final test of each module is required to access the consecutive module. 

Practical activities will take place in person at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele facilities and will be structured in two stages:

1) observership hands-off training: 2 weeks; one in the clinic and one in the endoscopy room.

2) observership hands-on training: 4 weeks; two in the clinic and two in the endoscopy room.

Schedule and arrangment will be agreed with the Master's Program Director and tutors. Participation may take place either consecutively or distributed over the course of the academic year, depending also on the participant's professional commitments. 

The programme will conclude with the writing of a clinical research thesis, to be discussed as final assessment in front of the Master's Academic Commitee.
