II Level Master in Heart Failure and Structural Heart Disease A.A. 2026/27

Applications are now open for the Academic Year 2026/2027 for the Master's Degree Program in Heart Failure and Structural Heart Disease.

Applications must be submitted through the PICA portal from June 22 2026 (12:00 PM) until February 16 2027 (11:59 PM).

Applicants must hold a Master's Degree in Medicine and Surgery and a license to practice as a medical doctor.

Preference will be given, but is not mandatory for admission, to candidates holding a Specialization Diploma in Cardiovascular Diseases, Cardiac Surgery, or Diagnostic Radiology.

Admission to the Master's Program is based on the evaluation of the candidates' academic and professional qualifications and on an interview.

Each candidate may be awarded a maximum of 30 points, distributed as follows:

• Academic curriculum and relevant degree thesis: up to 2.5 points;
• Specialization Diploma in Cardiovascular Diseases, Cardiac Surgery, or Diagnostic Radiology: up to 7.5 points;
• Indexed scientific publications: up to 10 points, evaluated according to the journal's Impact Factor and the candidate's authorship position, with particular consideration given to first and last authorship;
• Interview: up to 10 points.

A minimum score of 15 points is required for admission eligibility. Candidates scoring below this threshold may be deemed ineligible for admission.

A final ranking list will be established based on the evaluation of qualifications and the interview results.

Applicants must upload the following documents:

1. Degree certificate or self-certification of the Master's Degree in Medicine and Surgery;
2. Certificate or self-certification of the license to practice medicine;
3. If applicable, certificate or self-certification of the Specialization Diploma in Cardiovascular Diseases, Cardiac Surgery, or Diagnostic Radiology;
4. Copy of the title page, table of contents, and abstract of the degree thesis;
5. Signed Curriculum Vitae;
6. Scientific publications, if any;
7. Copy of a valid identity document or passport
8. Applicants holding a degree obtained outside Italy must also provide a Declaration of Value (Dichiarazione di Valore) or a Statement of Comparability issued by CIMEA, certifying the validity and level of the foreign qualification for admission purposes.
