After earning her PhD from the University of Milan, she pursued postdoctoral research at New York University (Shanghai) and subsequently held positions as Research Fellow at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University.

She is currently a Tenure-Track Researcher in Political Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy of Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, where she also serves on the Board of Directors of CeSEP – Centre for Studies in Ethics and Politics.

She coordinates courses in Political Philosophy and in Democracy and Global Justice within both the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes, including the BA in Political Sciences and Global Strategies and the MA in Philosophy of the Contemporary World.

Her research lies in contemporary political philosophy, with particular emphasis on political realism, the relationship between ideal and non-ideal theory, the methodology of normative political philosophy, and the constraints of political feasibility. She is the author of Prendere la politica sul serio. Il realismo nella filosofia politica contemporanea (AlboVersorio, 2023). Her work has appeared in leading international journals such as Philosophy and Social Criticism, European Journal of Philosophy, Critical Review of International Social and Political Philosophy, Res Publica, Constellations, and Ethical Theory and Moral Practice.
