Main research interests

Role of cell death in the pathogenesis of systemic vasculitis and connective tissue diseases, with particular reference to the common complications associated with pregnancy and pathology of gender.

 

Role of innate immunity in injury and tissue repair.

 

She has published 140 articles in extenso in international scientific journals (total impact factor> 900). The works have been cited over 5800 times since 1996 (data from the bibliographic citation database Scopus multidisciplinary and updated to January 2014): Scopus “h” index: 40.
