Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2019

Together with QS, THE Times Higher Education is one of the most significant and recognized rankings in the world; the indicators taken into consideration for the ranking are teaching, research, number of publications, citations in international journals, relations with the operators of the reference market and male to female ratio.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2019 includes almost 1,400 universities across 92 countries, standing as the largest and most diverse university rankings ever to date.

The table is based on 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators that measure an institution’s performance across teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.

Young University Rankings 2019 by THE Times Higher Education

Recently published, the ranking of the youngest universities (<25 years), where UniSR is ranked 23rd in the world, and second in Italy.

World University Rankings 2019 by THE Times Higher Education

In the World University Rankings 2019, the UniSR is ranked 201-250 among the 1000 international universities evaluated, maintaining the excellence position for all the teaching classes proposed in the training offer.

By watching the global ranking, under the ‘Citations‘ indicator, we position 39th in the overall ranking and first among the Italians. Instead, by observing the positioning data relating to the Clinical Pre-Clinical & Health area, UniSR rises ranked among the 151-175 best universities.

The ranking of this specific area evaluates the best Universities dealing with Clinical, Pre-Clinical and Health subjects.

Excellent results are also gained for the new area investigated by the THE, Psychology: UniSR is among the Italians in third place, while in the Overall it maintains the balance of 201-250.

QS World University Rankins By Subject Area

The recently released QS ranking ranked UniSR among the 400 best universities in the world in the broad subject Area Life Sciences and Medicine, earning around twenty places compared to the previous year. The macro-category includes not only the topics related to the entire Faculty of Medicine but also those related to Psychology.

In addition, UniSR earns around 50 positions for the Medical area gaining a position among the first 250 worldwide universities.

QS which, together with THE, is one of the most authoritative international rankings, undertakes to analyze the scores relating to the major international universities. The ranking is based on scores defined by an accurate weighted average of the following factors: academic reputation, employer reputation, citations for paper and H-Index.
