Dr. Agosta wins European Young Researcher award from the Recherche Alzheimer Foundation

Dott. Federica Agosta, group leader of the "Neuroimaging of Neurodegenerative Diseases" Unit of the IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital and researcher at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, was awarded the European Young Researcher-SCOR award.

The Alzheimer's Research Foundation was created to raise awareness and promote research in the field of Alzheimer's disease and related syndromes. Every year, after a selection made by its European Scientific Committee, the Foundation awards funding to support and encourage a young researcher, known for the high level of his scientific publications, whose research projects are promising.

Dr. Agosta, author of more than 200 articles in specialized scientific journals, studies the mechanisms of neurodegeneration in Alzheimer's disease, Alzheimer's-related diseases and the early version of the disease.
