It is an important milestone for UniSR which, among the 26,000 universities in the world, is part of the best universities globally. In particular, we rank among the top 10 Italian universities and the first, among these, as a free university.
We are a new entry with a high teacher/student ratio and a significant scientific production that make us fall into the Qs World University Rankings 2021 global ranking, the most consulted in the world.
The methodology of this Ranking
The ranking is based on a research that includes the views of teachers, academics, researchers, managers and directors of human resources. It also includes the analysis of scientific publications and citations.
The ranking prepared by the QS agency is based on indicators that measure the reputation of the universities assessed (around 1500 worldwide, of which 1000 enter the rankings), the teacher-student ratio, scientific productivity and the level of internationalization.
All elements for which UniSR has always represented an important national example that now proves to be internationally rewarding.
Rewarding elements for UniSR
The indicator that allowed achieving this result was above all the student/teacher ratio in which we had the best score in Italy and for which we place 37th in the world.
The elements that reward our University are certainly the mission that always sees us engaged in the Medical field supported by Psychology and Philosophy, in a campus where teaching and research find fertile ground to constantly grow, and where the student is at the center of every initiative undertaken.
The university campus is in fact inserted in a context in which it is possible to find and closely collaborate with San Raffaele Hospital, one of the hospital structure of the San Donato Group, one of the most important and internationally renowned European research centers.
