A gradual recovery, which guarantees the health and safety of our students: this is the priority of the UniSR resuming plan, which will allow our students to return after summer, in compliance with current regulations and some news.

UniSR initiatives to support students and flexible teaching

UniSR has extended the deadlines for the payment of university fees by two months and, in June, it issued a call for the assignment of € 200.000 of extraordinary economic contributions, reserved for enrolled students who find themselves in conditions of economic hardship after the pandemic. A further call with the allocation of € 1 million has been approved for September.

These are important investments, which are in addition to those envisaged in the plan for the resumption of the University's activities, which will allow students to flexibly choose how to use the educational services. In fact, a review of the layout of all spaces is underway, as well as the redefinition of the technological equipment available to the classrooms (with the acquisition of digital whiteboards, remote transmission systems, environmental microphones), the adoption of an integrated platform for digital content and systems to allow the online delivery of written exams.

New spaces for a safe resumption

It is possible to come back to in-person teaching, respecting the measures of social distancing. Considering the progressive increase of students, UniSR has identified new areas close to the campus which will guarantee the appropriate structural conditions for the safe continuation of the University's activities. Several spaces of Palazzo Canova and the entire Palazzo Borromini located in Milan 2 (Segrate), for a total of over 10,000 m2, will be made available to students. The new areas will be equipped to meet the needs and requirements of our students, and will allow expansion both in terms of accommodation capacity and in terms of didactic offer, as foreseen by the Strategic Plan and in full coherence with the spirit of the University, which places the student at the center, protecting their well-being and health.
