Vita-Salute San Raffaele University (UniSR) has reached another extraordinary milestone in the THE World University Rankings 2027, the international ranking by Times Higher Education. The University has risen to 247th place, up from the previous 251–300 band. It has also secured 5th place in the world and 1st in Europe for Research Quality, the indicator that measures the quality and impact of scientific output, up two places on last year.
«Being in the world’s top 10 for Research Quality in the THE World University Rankings 2027 is a result that fills us with pride and confirms the excellence of our University’s research», commented Prof. Enrico Gherlone, Rector of Vita-Salute San Raffaele University. «This result is part of a pattern of growing international recognition of our commitment to science. Indeed, in the QS World University Rankings 2027, UniSR also ranked 6th in the world and 1st in Europe for Citations per Faculty. It confirms the strength of our model: research of international standing that translates into outstanding teaching, so as to make a concrete contribution to innovation and the quality of care».
