II level Master in Coronary Interventional Cardiology A.Y. 2024/25
Program overview
The II level Master in Coronary Interventional Cardiology aims to provide theorical and practical skills in the field of interventional cardiology. The candidate will be trained from the basis of the diagnostic coronary angiography to the performance as a first operator of percutaneous coronary intervention.
The candidate will be exposed to intravascular imaging technique (IVUS, OCT) and to the study of coronary physiology (Fractional Flow Reserve – FFR; Coronary Flow Reserve – CFR; Index of Microcirculatory Resistance – IMR etc).
The results will be verified daily throughout the catheterization laboratory attendance and by the writing of an experimental thesis.

The II level Masters in Coronary Interventional Cardiology and Structural Interventional Cardiology organized by Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele and directed by Professor Montorfano, allowed me to develop in-depth knowledge in the field of the diagnosis and treatment of complex coronary artery disease and structural heart disease through a specialized training course with high professional value. Both Masters provide the theoretical elements aimed at acquiring practical skills for an always innovative and modern therapeutic approach to the patient. They have contributed significantly to my personal growth, in a dynamic, stimulating and qualifying professional and scientific experience.
