II level Master in Colorectal Surgery A.Y. 2025-2026
Study Plan
The Master Program corresponds to a II level University Master within the academic Italian system.
Upon completion of the 12-months, and after the traineeship and final project dissertation, participants are awarded 60 ECTS.
The Master kick off has been planned starting from March, 2026.
Attendance Requirements
Attendance is mandatory, with the following minimum thresholds:
- Classroom-based learning activities: 80%
- Practical activities: 100%
The classroom-based learning sessions will be delivered in a blended format (in-person and online).
Practical activities, cadaver lab sessions, and clinical training will take place in person at the Colorectal Surgery Unit, according to the schedule and methods agreed upon with the Master’s Program Director and the assigned tutors.
Final Assessment
The final examination consists of a theoretical test aimed at assessing the understanding of the main pathologies and treatment approaches in colorectal surgery. It includes:
- Practical evaluation: clinical and cadaver-based assessments in colorectal surgery
- Final research project: clinical case analysis or experimental study
During the course of the program, interim assessments may be administered in the form of multiple-choice quizzes.
