II Level Master in Valvular Heart Disease: Decision-Making, Multimodality Imaging, and Surgical and Interventional Approaches A.Y. 2026/27
Call for applications
Application submission period: from 19/06/2026 (12:00 AM) to 26/01/2027 (11:59 PM).
Applications for admission, together with all documents required by the call, must be submitted via the PICA platform at the following address: PICA.CINECA.UNISR (Code: master2026-11), no later than the final deadline of 26/01/2027 (11:59 PM).
Applicants are required to register on the portal using a valid email address and to complete all the required fields for the application, attaching the necessary documents in PDF format. Each attachment must not exceed 30 megabytes.
The system allows applicants to save their application as a draft until the deadline. The date of online submission of the application is certified by the system through a receipt that will be automatically sent via email. After the application deadline has passed, the system will no longer allow access to or submission of the online form. Each application will be assigned an identification number which, together with the application code indicated in the system, must be quoted in any subsequent communication.
Admission Requirements
Applicants holding a degree in Medicine and Surgery are eligible to apply for admission to the Master’s programme. A specialization in Cardiology or Cardiac Surgery will be considered a preferential qualification for admission.
Admission to the Master’s programme is based on the evaluation of qualifications.
Each candidate may be assigned a maximum score of 25 points, distributed as follows:
- Professional curriculum: maximum 5 points
- Relevant degree thesis: maximum 5 points
- Specialization in Cardiovascular Diseases or Cardiac Surgery: 5 points
- Scientific publications: maximum 10 points
A minimum threshold of 15 points is required; candidates scoring below this may be deemed not eligible for admission to the Master’s program.
Documents to be attached to the application for admission
- Self-declaration or certificate of the Degree in Medicine and Surgery, including the final grade;
- Degree thesis: copy of the title page, table of contents, and summary/abstract;
- Self-declaration or certificate of professional qualification to practice as a Medical Doctor;
- Self-declaration or certificate of specialization in Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, or related fields, including the final grade;
- Signed curriculum vitae (education and professional experience);
- Relevant scientific publications;
- Copy of a valid identity document.
In addition, for applicants holding a degree obtained abroad, as well as a professional qualification and authorization to practice in their country of origin (other than Italy):
- Certified (legalized) translation of the degree certificate;
- Declaration of Value (Dichiarazione di Valore in loco) issued by the competent Italian diplomatic or consular authority in the country where the qualification was awarded, or CIMEA Statement of Comparability.
