Admission to the Joint Master's Degree in Health Informatics
The Call for Admission to the Master's Degree in Health Informatics for the academic year 2025/2026 is published below.
Admission to the Master's Degree in Health Informatics is based on selection through an admission test and academic career evaluation. This test is mandatory for all candidates wishing to access the course. Other exams or scores cannot substitute the UniSR admission test.
The admission test is regulated by a specific Call for Admission (Bando di concorso), which includes information on opening and closing of registrations, fees and enrolment documents and deadlines.
- Places available: 40 for EU citizens and citizens with EU equal status, 10 for NON-EU citizens residing abroad
- Registration period: from 15 January 2025 12:00 pm (Italian time) to 10 April 2025* 12:00 pm (Italian time)
* If you are attending a foreign/international University or you have been awarded a non-Italian Degree, you must register for the competition at least 5 days before the deadline: you will be able to register for the test only after having obtained the evaluation of your academic documents.

- Who can participate: candidates who have already graduated or that are going to graduate within the Autumn session of the AY 2024/2025.

- To register for the admission test on the UniSR Admissions Portal you will need:
- Personal email account that you use frequently: you will receive all the information here during the entire selection process, from registration for the test to enrolment
- Identity document/passport
- Italian tax code (only for Italian citizens)
- You must upload your University transcripts and, if available, your final Degree certificate
- If you have a non-Italian qualification or if you are attending an international University/College, prepare the following documents to upload to the portal during registration:
- Report cards/transcripts
- If available, final qualification
- Any translations, declaration of value, legalization/apostille or any other document already in your possession that can help us with the verification.
Attention: in this case you will have to wait for our evaluation before you can register for the test. Don't wait until the last minute to register!
- If you are a non-EU citizen holding a residence permit or a diplomatic passport, upload these documents to the portal when filling in your personal data
- Starting 5 days before the test, you will receive via email the technical instructions for taking the test. You will be asked to carry out a check requirement to verify that the devices and the workstation where you will carry out the actual test are suitable. It is important to carry out the test at least one day before the test.
The selection process consists of an admission test and the evaluation of the academic career.
1. The admission test is made of 24 multiple-choice questions (8 in Mathematics, 8 in Informatics, 2 in Biology, 2 in Genetics, 2 in Anatomy, 2 in Physiology). Admission test score equal to 60% of the total score [up to 24 points out of 40]. The score will be calculated as follows:
• 1 point for each correct answer
• - 0,25 points for each incorrect or not valid answer
• 0 points for each non-given answer
The test is entirely in English and candidates have 60 minutes to complete it.
2. Academic path assessment score equal to 40% of the total score [up to 16 points out of 40]. A score will be assigned proportionally to the actual value of the weighted average, providing a minimum of 0 points for candidates with an average of 18/30 and a maximum of 16 points for those who present an average equal to or greater than 30/30.
