Censis ranking: excellent results also in the humanistic field

13 July 2022
The University

In these days we have the annual appointment with the rankings of Censis, which takes care of evaluating and ranking the best universities in Italy and their respective degree courses.

Censis aims to take a picture of the Italian university landscape but also to provide concrete help to thousands of students who have to orient themselves in the choice of their academic path.

To accomplish this aim, every year it carries out an articulated analysis of the university system (dividing between state and non-state universities and into homogeneous categories by size), basing its assessment on parameters such as available structures, services provided, level of internationalization, communication skills 2.0 and employability.

This year's edition sees UniSR in an excellent position in the ranking of small non-state universities, a large and therefore competitive category. Our University, in fact, advances one position compared to last year, thus obtaining the fifth place.

First place in humanities degrees among private universities

For non-state degrees, our University obtains first place in the field of humanistic literary disciplines, thus rewarding, once again, the important Faculty of Philosophy.

The recognition is twofold: both the three-year Degree Course in Philosophy (here the ranking) and the two Master's Courses in Philosophy of the Contemporary World and Theory and History of Arts and Image (here the official Censis ranking) have been awarded.

Psychology and Medicine again on the podium

Our University excels in the psychological sector with an excellent place for the Degree Course in Psychological Sciences and Techniques and ranks third for the Master's Degree Course in Psychology, with the same score as the first classified in terms of career progression.

As for the single-cycle Master's Degrees, the UniSR Faculty of Medicine and Surgery receives the first prize, thanks to the high level of internationalization (for the official ranking click here).
