Call for applications a.y. 2023/24

Applications are open until January 31st, 2024 (23:59 CET) and must be submitted via PICA.CINECA.UNISR.

The application to participate in the call, including the documentation required by the announcement, must be submitted by accessing the page of the PICA platform at the following address PICA.CINECA.UNISR within the above mentioned deadline of January 31st, 2024.

Candidates must register on the portal by entering a valid e-mail address and all the information required for submitting the application, all documents must be attached in PDF format. Each attachment must not exceed 30 Megabytes.

Admissions requirements

The access to the Master Program is subject to an evaluation of the candidate's academic and professional titles.

Selection to the Master's program will be based on the evaluation of candidates' educational and professional qualifications and curriculum vitae.

Requested qualifications:

- Master's Degree in Medicine & Surgery, with license to practice

- Specialization in Gastroenterology/Digestive Endoscopy (preferred qualifications)

Documents to be included in the application form:

- Self-certification or certificate of graduation indicating the grade and title of the thesis;
- Self-certification or certificate of qualification to practice as a Medical Surgeon;
- Self-certification or certificate of Specialization in Gastroenterology/Digestive Endoscopy
- Signed professional curriculum vitae (indicating relevant clinical activity, including any publications);
- Copy of a valid personal identification document.

International candidates are additionally requested to provide:

1. Legalized translation of the Degree Certificate

2. Declaration of Value (to be issued by the Italian Embassy/Consulate where the degree was obtained) or Statement of Comparability.

Candidates will be assigned points (maximum 15 points totally) based on the following criteria:

  • Degree mark and relevant thesis: maximum 1.5 points
  • Specialization grade and relevant thesis: maximum 3 points
  • Professional CV: maximum 1.5 points
  • Length of service and any other qualifications: maximum 1 point
  • Scientific publications in subjects relevant to the course: maximum 3 points

Below the minimum treshold of 3 points the candidate may be judged ineligible for admission to the Master's program. The committee will be composed of the Master's Teaching Committee whose judgment is final.

After the application

  • Pre-verification of application completeness by the Master Office;
  • Evaluation of qualifications by the Commission and convocation for the interview;
  • Publication of the ranking list and instructions for proceeding with possible matriculation.
