Salvatore Albani

Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School Singapore and Director of the Translational Immunology Institute, expert in human immunity and its therapeutic manipulation. Developed a high-dimensional technology platform integrating cytometry, single-cell RNA sequencing, and AI to identify novel immune targets. Key contributions include AI-driven mapping of the healthy immunome, CARTreg therapy for autoimmunity and transplantation, and a first-in-class immunotherapy for rheumatoid arthritis. Author of over 100 patents and high-impact publications, with strong entrepreneurial engagement. President of the Eureka Institute, promoting education and advancement in translational medicine.

Berent Prakken

Berent Prakken is emeritus professor of Paediatric Immunology at UMC Utrecht and honorary professor at Ghent University. Until 2025, he served as vice dean for education and director of the Biomedical Education Center. He now acts as Executive Director for Utrecht in CHARM-EU, an Erasmus+ initiative promoting university collaboration. He founded a translational research lab on immune regulation and biomarkers. He mentored over 50 PhD candidates and received numerous awards. He was president of PRES, EULAR board member, and advisor to the Dutch Health Council. As co-founder of the Eureka Institute, he continues to foster educational innovation and international collaboration.

Norman Rosenblum

Dr. Norman Rosenblum is Professor at the University of Toronto and Senior Scientist at the Hospital for Sick Children. He is Scientific Director of CIHR-INMD and a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences. Luigi Naldini is Director of the San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy and Professor at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University. He pioneered the development of lentiviral vectors, now widely used in gene therapy for genetic and cancer diseases. His research led to innovative therapeutic strategies and discoveries on stem cells and tumor angiogenesis. He contributed to gene editing and published over 270 scientific papers. He is an EMBO member, past president of ESGCT, and advisor to international scientific committees. He received numerous prestigious awards, including the Jeantet-Collen Prize for Translational Medicine. In 2019, he was named Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.

Eliana Ruggiero

She earned her PhD in Natural Sciences from Heidelberg University in 2013, studying T cell receptor (TCR) repertoires in cancer and infection. Since 2015, she has worked at San Raffaele Hospital, identifying over 60 anti-tumor TCRs and securing six patents. She is now a Project Leader in Experimental Hematology, leading an independent research program focused on TCR-based cancer therapies. Her work combines cell engineering, omics, and functional validation. She has received major awards, including the ESGCT Young Investigator and ASGCT Excellence in Research. She reviews for top journals like Nature, Blood, and Science Translational Medicine. She also evaluates Marie Curie Fellowship applications and studies TCR tracking in patients.

Renato Ostuni

Renato Ostuni is Group Leader of the Innate Immune System Genomics Unit at SR-Tiget since 2015. He earned his PhD in Immunology from the University of Milano-Bicocca, where he graduated with honors in Biotechnology. After postdoctoral work at IEO and the Weizmann Institute, he secured major grants including an ERC Starting Grant and multiple AIRC and Ministry of Health projects. He received awards such as the Alessandro Moretta Young Investigator Award and the LaboSpace Prize. He teaches Histology and Cell Therapy at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University. He reviews for top journals like Nature Immunology and Cell Reports, and evaluates grants for ERC and Wellcome Trust. His independent research program focuses on genomic regulation of innate immunity.
