Centro per la ricerca e l’innovazione infermieristica – Center for Nursing Research and Innovation – CeNRI

Presentation

The Center for Nursing Research and Innovation (CeNRI) was founded in 2016 within the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, an Italian context characterized by high innovation and research.

The research center is a unique reality in the Lombardy Region and is one of the first on the national scene to deal purely with nursing research within a university.

The mission of the Centre is to improve nursing research in order to increase the quality of care and patient safety through innovation and the application of research to daily care practice.

Since 2022 the CeNRI has been called to the Scientific Committee of CERSI, a new Centro di Eccellenza per la Ricerca e lo Sviluppo dell’Infermieristica of the National Federation of Orders for Nursing Professions (FNOPI). The objective of CERSI is to promote and develop nursing research at national, European and international level, thanks to a communication network formed by the four Italian universities PhD in nursing - Genoa, L'Aquila, Florence and Rome Tor Vergata - and the two Centri di Eccellenza already active, the historical one of Rome (CECRI) and CeNRI of Vita-Salute San Raffaele University of Milan.
