THE World University Rankings represents one of the most important and recognized rankings in the world; the 13 performance indicators on which it is based are carefully calibrated and measure the performance of an institution across four areas: teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
This year’s ranking analysed more than 108 million citations across over 14.4 million research publications and included survey responses from almost 22,000 scholars globally.
Our University, despite being a young and small university, has stood out in particular in the number of publications and citations in international journals, confirming itself as a scientific as well as educational excellence at both national and international level.
Among the rewarding elements is the relationship between students and dedicated staff, which underlines the extreme attention paid to each student.
This ranking, like other national and international rankings such as QS, CWUR, Censis, not only aim to describe the situation of the Academic system worldwide but represents a valid support in choosing the university path to take for thousands of students.
