The 10th edition of Europerio took place from 15 to 18 June 2022. Europerio is the most accredited and prestigious scientific event of Periodontology at an international level, organized in Copenhagen by the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP).
Among the international experts, this year also Prof. Massimo de Sanctis, Head of the Chair of Periodontology of the Degree Course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics UniSR, who performed two mucogingival surgeries in live streaming in the plenary hall in the presence of about 8000 participants. These surgeries involved different mucogingival surgery techniques for the treatment of multiple gingival recessions.
Prof. de Sanctis, live from the Dental School which is part of the Complex Unit of Dentistry of IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital in Milan (director Prof. Enrico Gherlone), performed and commented on the coronally shifted multiple flap surgical technique associated with connective tissue graft, introduced by him, published in literature and today one of the most used.
