Positions and Funding
Full-time financial support is provided for every student we admit.
The fellowship is subject to the INPS [Italian Social Security] separate management contribution, according to the regulations in force and the yearly amount is € 18,000.00, for thre-years fellowships;
The maintenance of the status of PhD Student and the renewal of the doctoral fellowship depend on the positive result of an annual examination of the scientific progress.
Each year all students, excluded any period of extension, receive additional funds (1800 euros/year) to support participation to meetings and workshops.
Budget not used within the legal duration of the Course may not be used during the possible period of extension or in the time between the end of the legal duration of the Course and the achievement of the title.
International collaborations are encouraged; PhD students awarded with a three-yeas fellowship who spend a research period abroad will have their fellowship increased by 50% for a maximum of 12 months.
